Re; The Citizen Assembly's recent adoption of the Single Transferable Vote system.

I can't help but express my concern with Campbell's proposed electoral system.
As far as I'm concerned the Citizen's Assembly on Electoral Reform were simply
shepherded through the process, fully overwhelmed by the guile of academic
mastery, in order to achieve a predetermined result. I believe viable public
opposition to this agenda was targeted and effectively squashed --in a myriad
of ways, including the dirty tricks of covert forces-- to prevent an honest
and in depth exploration of core electoral issues.
The elitist controlled democracy of the West has historically relied on a
large (sycophantic) middle class to assure its subordination and
harvesting of the working class under the current electoral system. The
system has served them well by assuring majority governments for maximum
administrative power, while effectively neutering meaningful opposition due to the
ominous task of individuals achieving office against the existing power
structure. But the massive downsizing that the end of the
oil era entails (Campbell's moving "forward" agenda) will see the middle class
dramatically downsized too, and therefore will redefine the balance of power
equation, with increasing popular opposition to the elite's self-serving agenda.
Thus I believe the STV system --seemingly freely adopted by the Assembly-- in
reality defines the elitist New World Order strategy, which they subtly promoted
in order to effectively hamstring future electoral majorities with their
minority vote, and thereby prevent wholesale political reform from evolving. I
think they are trying to preserve status quo as best they can during the
massive downsizing and popular discontent that's dawning.
I know they've sure pulled out all the stops to shut me up it seems. If
Canadians knew the horror they've inflicted on me with their despicable
guile and omnipresent covert armies there'd be revolution in the streets.
